Beacons get back in the win column in a dominating fashion

HOW IT HAPPENED

In the most consistent offensive performance by the Beacons this season, UMass Boston unloaded a barrage of shots for all 90 minutes.

Ailaina Keely got the Beacons on the scoreboard in just the second minute of the match, with Kaylee Haynes assisting on the crucial go-ahead goal. Ten minutes later Callia Eaton gave the Beacons some much appreciated breathing room with her first goal of the campaign.

Even with the two-goal advantage the Beacons continued to pepper the Seahawks defensive third, and could have made the game a blowout before the halftime break.

McKenna Hallinan sealed the win with less than seven minutes to play in regulation with Caileigh Sullivan picking-up the assist on the play.

Julia Cote and Isabella O'Connell each took a half in Wednesday's win and managed five saves a-piece.

Georgia Drake made all 10 stops for Salve Regina in the losing effort.
