KEENE, N.H. – Senior back
Dani Anderson lifted women's soccer to a crucial Little East Conference win over rival Keene State College as the Florida native netted both goals to earn the Beacons a 2-1 victory Saturday afternoon at Dr. Ron Butcher Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Anderson catapulted the Beacons into the top-6 in the conference standings as the back netted a goal in each half. Not only did she help carry the offense, she helped anchor the Beacons defensive third which held Keene to the lone goal.
After Keene's goal, which came in the 10
th minute of Saturday's contest on a penalty kick. The Beacons settled in, and limited the Owls' offense for the remainder of the contest.
Anderson scored the equalizer in the 42
nd minute giving the Beacons a huge momentum swing going into the halftime break.
She then sealed the victory 10 minutes into the second half to cap-off her first two-goal performance this season.
Maria Spylios earned the win in goal making nine saves, including six in the second half.
With Saturday's win the Beacons now sit fourth in the conference with only two weeks remaining in the regular season.
