Josh DeAlmeida scored two goals for UMass Boston Men's Soccer and freshman forward
Nick Braganca netted two goals in the second half as the Beacons improved to 5-0 in Little East Conference play with a 6-1 victory over UMass Dartmouth Wednesday evening on the road.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Out of the gate, the Beacons went on the attack, firing seven shots, three of which made it on net against junior goalkeeper Jack Waterhouse who made the saves. DeAlmeida's first goal would come in the 25
th minute on a pass from senior midfielder
Cristian Suvak to make it 1-0. DeAlmeida would tack on his second goal of the match right away in the second half when Braganca hit him with a pass to make it 2-0 in the 47
th minute.
A Beacon yellow card would lead to the only goal of the match for the Corsairs when freshman midfielder Cameron Aguiar converted on a penalty kick in the 49
th minute against junior goalkeeper
Qasim El-Ashkar to cut the UMass Boston lead in half, 2-1.
Just 30 seconds later, Braganca would regain the two-goal lead for the Beacons and 15 minutes after that score his second goal of the match on a penalty kick in the 65
th minute to make it 4-1 UMass Boston.
In the final 10 minutes of play, sophomore forward
Dylan Kelley scored his third goal of the season and freshman forward
Jahiem Perez recorded his first collegiate goal to make it the eventual 6-1 final score.
BY THE NUMBERS
- With his two goals this evening, Josh DeAlmeida has recorded his career high for goals in a single season, scoring six total goals this year surpassing his previous mark of four
