BOSTON, Mass. – Sophomore forward
Annilson DePina's goal in the fourth minute would be all UMass Boston Men's Soccer needed to earn their sixth win in six conference matches this season, 1-0, over Keene State at home on Saturday afternoon. The win clinched a top two spot in the Little East Conference and a first-round bye in the tournament for the Beacons.

HOW IT HAPPENED
DePina would net the lone goal of the match when freshman defender Dennis Percherskiy hit sophomore defender
Elijah Elliott with a pass and Elliott found the sophomore in the open field. DePina would work himself around a couple of Owl defenders before firing on senior goalkeeper Anthony Pasciuto and into the left side of the net, making it 1-0.
The Beacon defense was the story of the first half, allowing no shots on goal against Keene State through the opening 45 minutes and only three total shots. UMass Boston would only muster up the DePina goal as their lone shot on goal out of five attempts in the first half.

th minute while the Beacons would record two shots on goal from freshman midfielder
Ryan Lima in the second half of their 1-0 victory at home.
