DARTMOUTH, Mass. – After a back-and-forth first half, UMass Dartmouth erupted in the second half as they shot over 52% from the field and over 47% from distance to earn an 88-58 Little East Conference win over men's basketball Monday afternoon at the Tripp Athletic Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
As a team the Corsairs outscored the Beacons 53-31 over the final 20 minutes to pick-up their 10
th win of the regular season. Marcus Azor had one of his most dominant performances posting a triple-double of 23 points, 13 assists, and 12 rebounds.
The Beacons who went shot-for-shot with the Corsairs in the first half, could not keep pace in the second especially from behind the arc as they made just one 3-pointer. UMass Dartmouth had 12 made 3-pointers in the contest, with eight coming in the second.
Stephen DiGregorio (Marlborough, Mass.) led the Beacons with 15 points on 7-of-9 shooting.
Malik Lorquet (Sharon, Mass.) was the only other Beacon to finish in double figures as he dropped in 10 points. The Sharon native also had a team-high nine rebounds and three blocks.
