Beacons will begin LEC play this Friday at ECSU

BOSTON, Mass. – Led by Jasmine James 12 kills and .320 hitting percentage Suffolk University defeated volleyball by the final of 3-0 Tuesday evening at Clark Athletic Center Gymnasium.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The Rams jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead following a 25-20 win in the first set and a 25-13 win in the second. The third set, saw the Beacons battle back in the early part of the frame. However, a late push by Suffolk would seal the victory for the Rams.
Along with James' performance on the offensive side of the ball, Morgan Kelsey anchored the Rams defense with 21 digs. Harmony Johnson notched 19 assists to fuel the Rams .244 hitting percentage as a team.

Marcelle Tiscareno (El Paso, Texas) finished with a team-leading six kills, and had three solo blocks and two block assists. Carsen Komminsk (Worthington, Ohio) finished with 17 assists and three aces, while Alyssa Ruan (Quincy, Mass.) notched 15 digs.
