BOSTON, Mass. – With a program record 31 aces, volleyball cruised to their first home win since November 5, 2019 as they blanked Northern Vermont University-Lyndon by the final of 3-0 Friday evening at the Clark Athletic Center Gymnasium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Toni Guerra (Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.) led the Beacons with 10 aces in her home debut as a Beacon.
Taryn Broughal (Branford, Conn.) scored six aces, and finished the match with a team-high two solo blocks.
Marcelle Tiscareno (El Paso, Texas) registered three put downs in the win.
Jill Francis (Colorado Springs, Colo.) quarterbacked the offense with eight assists, while defensively
Kelsey Pereira came-up with six digs.
Mary Weissauer led the Hornets with three kills and two digs.
The Beacons hit a combined .205 in the decision, and an .851 service percentage.
