BOSTON, Mass. –
Conor Lenfest (Waltham, Mass.) unloaded a game-high seven goals, while adding three assists for a 10 point day to lead lacrosse to a 23-11 win over Division II American International College Saturday afternoon at James Cotter Field on senior day.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Beacons notched their seventh straight win of the campaign to cap-off the 2021 regular season. Prior to the start of the contest, the Beacons honored their three senior members in
Jack Riley (Wrentham, Mass.),
Cam Ford (Worcester, Mass.), and
Charlie Cook (Bedford, Mass.).
UMass Boston wasted little time taking over Saturday's contest as they jumped out to an 8-2 lead through the first 15 minutes of action. They then tacked on six more goals to head into the break with a commanding 14-6 lead.
AIC tried to mount a second half surge, but were doubled-up by the Beacons in the third 6-3. The final frame saw the Beacons earn a slim 3-2 advantage in scoring to cap-off one of the best regular seasons in recent memory.
Along with Lenfest's dominant performance, the Beacons attack also saw
Darragh Fahey (Walpole, Mass.) and
Donovan Prozinski (Ashland, Mass.) continue their strong play. Fahey, registered five goals and had three assists, while Prozinski finished with four goals and four assists.
Between the pipes Cook made a combined nine saves to earn his first win of the season. Face-off man
Jack Dobrzynski (West Greenwich, R.I.) went 20-for-34 on the "X" and had 15 ground balls.
As a team the Beacons caused a season-high 15 turnovers, while collecting 39 ground balls.

WHO'S NEXT
The Beacons will be back in action next Thursday when they host the semi-final round of the Little East Conference Tournament at 7 p.m. The Beacons are the top-seed in this year's tournament.
