UMass Boston (10-11)
Regis College (16-6)

HOW IT HAPPENED

Tuesday's match looked as if though the Beacons were going to sweep the Pride in straight sets. The Beacons earned a 25-22 win in the first set, before crushing Regis in the second with a 25-10 win. However, the Beacons offense went silent over the next two frames with Regis slipping past with a pair of 26-24 wins.

Unwilling to let their recent win-streak come to an end, the Beacons rolled past Regis in the fifth set as they earned a 15-7 decision to win their third-straight match.

Tiscareno's night consisted of a .361 hitting percentage and three block solos and two block assists. Carsen Komminsk (Worthington, Ohio) registered a career-high assists for a five-set match with 50 in the victory. Her single game performance is tied for seventh for most assists in a five-set match, after recording 54 assists on Saturday against Keene State. She is the first player in program history to put up 50 or more assists in back-to-back matches.

Livia Trindade (São Luís, Maranhão, Brazil) had another strong match scoring 14 kills, while Emilia Czapiewska (Saint Paul, Minn.) registered 11 kills and three block assists.

Ally Dean (Portland, Ore.) had a strong match in the Beacons back court as she totaled 22 digs and 39 service receptions.

As a team the Beacons combined for a season-high 60 kills, while their 14 service aces was third most in 2021.
