MEDFORD, Mass. – A pair of Stephanie DiLeo goals lifted Tufts University to a 3-0 non-conference win over women's soccer Tuesday evening at Bello Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Jumbos wasted little time getting on the scoreboard as DiLeo scored an unassisted goal in just the seventh minute of the contest.
With the loss the Beacons saw their four-game win-streak come to an end. It also marked the first time that the Beacons were held scoreless since suffering a 4-0 loss at Babson College on October 2.
The Beacons would hold the Jumbos to the lone score through the first half of play. Unfortunately, the Beacons could not score the equalizer on their three shots.
After the break, Tufts added their second goal of the evening as DiLeo made it a 2-0 contest in the 52
nd minute. Six minutes later they capped-off the win with a goal from Casey Lam.
The Jumbos held a 9-4 advantage in shots in the second half, and led the contest 19-7 overall, 11-2 in shots on goal.
Maria Spylios (Leominster, Mass.) made eight stops in the loss, while Kaelin Logue earned the shutout win after making just two saves.
