Volleyball Falls To Wheaton, 3-0

Emilia Czapiewska led all players with 12 kills

BOSTON, Mass. – Julianna Flack registered a team-high nine kills to lead Wheaton College (MA) to a 3-0 non-conference victory over volleyball Friday evening at Clark Athletic Center Gymnasium.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Flack lifted the Lyons to the three-set victory as she hit .500 in the match. Wheaton gained the early advantage with a 25-20 win in the first set. The Lyons would then register a 25-16 win in the second, before clinching the win in the third set with a 25-19 decision.

Emily Hickey also paced the Wheaton's offense with her six kills and .385 hitting percentage.

Emilia Czapiewska (Saint Paul, Minn.) posted a match-high 12 kills, while Marcelle Tiscareno (El Paso, Texas) finished with six put downs.

Carsen Komminsk (Worthington, Ohio) finished with 22 assists to go along with one ace. Ally Dean continued her strong play with 15 digs.
