While the Beacons were playing their first match in 586 days, Roger Williams was playing their fourth and final competition of the fall campaign.

Seniors
Alexander Comerchero (Brookline, Mass.) and
Roy Platteel (Holbrook, Mass.) combined for the Beacons lone victory of the night.  The senior duo combined to double up Roger Williams' Matt Glassman and Ryan Schuck 8-4 at second doubles.Â

At number one doubles, senior
Nandish Shah (Ahmedabad, India) and
Rudraksh Trivedi (Gujarat, India) fell 8-4 at number one singles.Â

In the final doubles match,
Miguel Beltran (Ashland, Mass.) and
Kevin Kubinec (East Boston, Mass.) dropped an 8-3 decision at third doubles.Â

Singles play would prove to be even more competitive.Â

Jon Trevethan defeated Shah 6-3, 6-1 at number one singles.Â

At second-flight singles, Dan Tocco held off Comerchero 6-4, 6-4.Â

Kubinec took Glassman to the brink in the first set at third singles, before ultimately falling 7-6, 6-1.Â

Platteel went back-and-forth with Schuck at fourth singles, before ultimately losing 6-4, 7-5.Â

In the closest match of the day, Trivedi took the first set at number five singles, before having to withdraw due to an injury. Trivedi took the first set 6-2, before withdrawing with a 5-3 deficit in the second set.Â

At number six singles, Tyler Cain defeated
Rez Yuspi (Somerville, Mass.) 7-6, 7-6.Â

- Men's tennis was playing their first match since February 22, 2020 when the Beacons defeated Endicott College 7-2.Â
