WOMEN'S TENNIS BLANKED BY BRIDGEWATER STATE, 9-0

BRIDGEWATER, MA - The University of Massachusetts Boston women's tennis team was defeated by Bridgewater State College, 9-0, today in a Little East Conference match in Bridgewater, MA on the campus of Bridgewater State. The Beacons fall to 2-4 on the season and 0-3 in LEC play, while the Bears improve to a perfect 8-0 and 3-0.

UMass Boston will be in action again on Thursday, October 1, when it travels to Chestnut Hill, MA to take on Pine Manor College at 3:00 p.m., while Bridgewater State hosts Rhode Island College on October 3 at 12:00 p.m.
