Emily Hansen earned Beacon of the Week honors after playing a pivotal role in UMass Boston women’s ice hockey’s weekend series sweep of Keene State. Hansen opened the scoring and added an assist in Friday’s 4-0 victory before netting her second overtime game-winner of the season in Sunday’s 2-1 win. She now has three game-winning goals on the year and leads the Beacons with 11 points, totaling six goals and five assists.
