Jude Kurtas was named Beacon of the Week after leading the UMass Boston men’s ice hockey team in scoring during a 1-0-1 weekend against Norwich University and Vermont State University Castleton. The senior recorded assists on both goals in a 2-2 shootout loss to Norwich before adding a goal and an assist in a 4-1 victory over Castleton. Kurtas now leads the Beacons with 22 points on the season, totaling nine goals and 13 assists.
