Stephanie Dollar serves as the Deputy Athletics Director for Internal Administration & Operations. She is the Senior Woman Administrator and Deputy Title IX Coordinator for Athletics. Dollar arrived at the Harbor campus in 2018 and previously served as the Senior Associate Director of Athletics for Internal Controls.  

Dollar is responsible for oversight and management of the day-to-day operations of the intercollegiate athletics program. Dollar oversees the operation of nineteen NCAA Division III sports programs, including budget, travel, scheduling, recruiting, equipment, planning, staffing, compliance, sports information, game management, the coordination of championships and other related areas. Dollar oversees sport administration, compliance, student athlete development, student athlete academic success, community engagement and inclusive excellence, and facilities.  

Dollar played a key role in the strategic planning process for the athletics strategic plan, Advancing the Legacy of Excellence. She developed and manages execution of key initiatives in the plan across the areas of wellness, stakeholder engagement, gender equity, and capital investment.   

Dollar is a 2022 graduate of the NCAA Pathway Program. The NCAA Pathway program is an intensive, experiential program for selected participants at NCAA schools and conferences across all divisions focused on advancing participants to the top role in an athletics department or conference office, while building their skills to thrive in their current duties.     

Dollar has recently been named an Administrative Review Officer for the 2024-2025 academic year. This position is trained to determine the appropriate resolution of an alleged violation of the Student Code of Condict and impose sanctions when appropriate. 

Dollar serves as a leader beyond the Harbor campus as well. Currently, she serves as the region 2 representative on the NCAA DIII Men's Basketball Committee. With this appointment is also the Chair of Region II Regional Advisory Committee.  Dollar also serves on the NADIIIAA Awards Committee, chairs the Education and Professional Development Committee for Women Leaders in Sports, and co-leads the Moms in Athletics Member Circle for Women Leaders in Sports. For the Little East Conference, she currently serves as the men's and women's hockey liaison to the Athletic Directors Council and has previously been the SAAC liaison.  

Dollar has served as a mentor through Women Leaders in Sports and NADIIIAA. She was a member of the NCAA Committee on Sportsmanship and Ethical Conduct and the NCAA Division III Region 2 Women’s Volleyball Regional Advisory Committee. 

Prior to her arrival at UMass Boston Ms. Dollar spent 17 years at the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) in numerous capacities, including as a member of the Senior Leadership Team and as Director of Education and Events.  

As Director of Education and Events, Dollar was responsible for the development and implementation of all educational opportunities, the oversight of the WBCA national awards program and all WBCA national and local events. She was the staff liaison to the NCAA for Division II Women’s Basketball, WBCA Division II conference captains, WBCA diversity and inclusion committee, Moms in Coaching, WBCA Playing Rules & Officiating Working Group and WBCA Professional Development Working Group. 

Prior to joining the WBCA, Dollar worked at Marianapolis Preparatory School in Thompson, Connecticut, as the Dean of Admissions, Assistant Athletic Director, and Girls' Basketball Coach.  

A native of Webster, Massachusetts, Dollar graduated from Fairfield University with a bachelor's degree in marketing. She earned her Master of Business Administration from Mercer University's Eugene W. Stetson School of Business and Economics in Atlanta, Georgia.  
 
Dollar is an active member of NACDA, NADIIIAA, Women Leaders in Sports and MOAA. Dollar participated in the 2022 NACDA Senior Administrator Mentoring Institute, the 2022 NCAA Division III Senior Woman Administrator, the 2021 Women Leaders in College Sports Executive Institute program, and the 2020 Women Leaders in College Sports Leadership Executive Institute.
