Jackie Perez was named Associate Director of Athletics for Facilities, Operations, and Sports Administration in January 2023. In this role, Perez provides leadership and oversight for all athletics and recreation facilities and operations. She works closely with university facilities staff on facility improvements, renovations, and new construction projects while leading the development and management of long-term facilities master planning initiatives. Perez also collaborates strategically with athletics department leadership to enhance operational processes and policies that support student-athlete success and the overall campus experience.
In addition to her facilities and operations responsibilities, Perez serves as the sport administrator for Volleyball, Women's Ice Hockey, and Baseball. Since joining the harbor campus, she has played a key role in several major facility initiatives, including the Title IX Clark Athletic Center renovation, softball field renovation, and the development of a student-athlete fueling station. She has also overseen multiple capital improvement projects, including gymnasium scoreboard upgrades, gym and rink sound system enhancements, and the installation of new video boards in both the gymnasium and ice rink.
Perez came to the harbor campus after serving as Director of Facilities for EDGE Sports Group from 2021 to 2023. During her tenure, she managed seven athletic facilities, including ice rinks, turf fields, and basketball courts. She oversaw extensive operating budgets and was responsible for the maintenance, repair, and lifecycle management of facility equipment. Perez also worked closely with vendors and local officials to ensure all facilities met applicable safety codes and operational standards.
A former standout student-athlete at Norwich University, Perez was a member of the 2011 NCAA Division III Women's Ice Hockey National Championship team—the first national championship in program history. She was also a three-time NCAA Frozen Four qualifier and three-time conference champion. Perez graduated from Norwich University in 2013 with a bachelor's degree in Business Management and a concentration in Sport Management before earning a master's degree in Environmental Law and Policy from Vermont Law School. Following her collegiate career, she played professionally for the Boston Blades of the Canadian Women's Hockey League.
