Dylon Grzenda

Dylon Grzenda joined UMass Boston Athletics as an Assistant Athletic Trainer in March 2025. He serves as the primary athletic trainer for the Beacons’ field hockey, women’s basketball, and men’s lacrosse programs, while also assisting with track and field. He is a Board-Certified Athletic Trainer with a diverse background in sports medicine, rehabilitation, and sports performance.

Prior to joining UMass Boston, Dylon worked as an athletic trainer in the Lower Merion School District (PA) and as a Sports Performance Coach and Return-to-Play Specialist at Athlete Acceleration in North Attleboro, MA. 

Dylon holds an Advanced Rehabilitation Certification (ARC) and previously served as an instructor for the program, helping educate other athletic trainers and rehabilitation professionals in advanced clinical practice. 

He maintains certifications in Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) Therapy, Dry Needling, and Emergency Medical Response.

Dylon serves as a clinical preceptor for Merrimack College’s Master of Science in Athletic Training program, helping educate and teach athletic training students in hands on experience 

Dylon earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Pre-Medical Studies from the University of New Haven, where he was a member of the baseball team, and his Master of Science in Athletic Training from Merrimack College.
