David arrived to the Harbour Campus in the fall of 2023, and has since overseen communications for all 19 varsity programs.

He manages press releases, social media, digital content, and gameday operations across the department while supervising student and part-time staff.

Prior to joining UMass Boston, David served as a Primary Athletic Communications Associate at Tufts University, where he handled all communications for the men's and women's soccer programs. He also completed a 540-hour internship with Westfield State University Athletics, contributing to communications efforts across 10 varsity programs.

A 2023 graduate of Springfield College with a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management and Recreation, David is a two-time award winner in the College Sports Communicators Fred Stabley National Writing Contest, earning both a district win and a national runner-up distinction. He is also a 2026 graduate of the CSC Inclusion Fellowship.
