Amy Youmell is in her first season as an assistant volleyball coach at UMass Boston.

Youmell, who an extensive background in high school and club, made the jump to college ranks in 2021.  As well as coaching the Beacons, Youmell served as the head junior varsity coach at Andrews High School.  She was the former head coach and strength and condition coach at Georgetown High School. 

Youmell graduated from the New England Center for Cosmetology in 2009, and currently holds USA Volleyball Cup 1 and 2 certificiations.
