Lindsay Bermanwill be in her third season as assistant women's ice hockey coachat UMass Boston in 2013-14.

Berman, who was afour year member of the Northeastern University women's ice hockeyprogram, had a distinguished career with the Huskies, as sheappeared in a combined 135 games. During that time she was namedthe 2008 recipient of the "Unsung Hero" award and was invited tothe 2008 USA Hockey under-22 training camp.

While attendingNortheastern, Berman also played for the Boston Blades of theCanadian Women's Hockey League (CWHL) and served as the assistantcoach of the under-19 Junior Women's Hockey League (JWHL) BostonShamrocks. Berman graduated from Northeastern in 2011 with abachelor's degree in Business Administration.

Berman has been amember of the Boston Blades for each of the past two seasons,appearing in 24 regular season games and seven postseasoncontests. 

Anative of Odenton, Maryland, Berman played for the Washington Prideunder head coach Kush Sidhu.
