Dom Lozzi was named the women's ice hockey coach at UMass Boston in June of 2019, after serving as the interim for the 2018-19 season.

She led the Beacons to a 10-15-2 record during her first season at the helm of the Beacons. In her first Codfish Bowl with the Beacons, Lozzi led the Beacons past her alma mater, Bowdoin College, for the program's first win over the Polar Bears since 2011. She helped lead the Beacons play their best hockey at the end of the season, as they upset #2 seed Suffolk University in the New England Hockey Conference Quarterfinals and then nearly took down top-seeded Norwich University in the NEHC Semifinals (3-2).

Lozzi comes to the harbor campus after spending the previous three seasons at her alma mater Bowdoin College.  A standout player with the Polar Bears, Lozzi graduated from Bowdoin in 2012, where she was named the NESCAC Rookie of the Year and was named the team captain as a senior.  She played in 101 games and totaled 85 career points in the Black and White.

Following her graduation, Lozzi joined the coaching staff at NESCAC member Trinity College in Hartford, CT.  While with the Bantams, Lozzi helped the program win the conference tournament championship in 2015.
