Ariana Bourque

Ariana Bourque joined the women’s ice hockey coaching staff for the 2016-17 season.  A standout Division III player, Bourque will help handle the day-to-day operations of the Beacons championship program.

A four-year member of the Bowdoin College program, Bourque served as a team captain as a senior.  During her time with the Polar Bears, Bourque played a major part in the team’s success earning New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) and All-Region honors.  She was also a NESCAC All-Academic team selection as well.  Off the ice Bourque co-lead the Team ImPACT initiative, and helped children with life threatening illnesses feel apart of the Bowdoin women’s hockey program. 

When not working with the hockey program, Bourque also served as a game management supervisor in the Bowdon Athletic Department.  She also served as a student volunteer with the Polar Brain Alliance, which helped students who are diagnosed with a concussion and are put on brain rest to aid in their recovery. 

Bourque graduated from Bowdoin in 2016 with a degree in Neuroscience and was also a Sociology minor.
