Timothy Morse enters his second season with the UMass Boston Track and Field program.
Morse is no stranger to the New England throwing community; he has been a long-time Assistant Coach at Hingham High School where he has coached over 20 student-athletes to League Championship victories. Two of these athletes continued to throw collegiately and, eventually, competed in the Olympic Trials.
Morse also served as an Assistant Coach at his Alma Mater, Northeastern University, where he coached three individual Conference Champions, two NCAA qualifiers, and numerous New England qualifiers. He was also instrumental in the implementation of the Strength and Conditioning program for the throwing event group.
During the 2015 – 16 season at UMass Boston, Morse coached all throwing group members to personal best in their respective throwing events. He also coached Taylor Smith through her victories at both the Outdoor New England Championship and the NEICAAA Championship. Smith qualified for her first NCAA National Championship, where she finished 15th overall.
Morse graduated from Northeastern University with a Bachelor's of Science in Recreation Management.
