Daniel Roberts is in his first season a member of the UMass Boston men’s soccer coaching staff.

Roberts will play a major part in the recruitment of future players, and the day-to-day operations of the men’s soccer program.

A former assistant at Wentworth Institute of Technology, Roberts currently works with the Scorpions Soccer Club, as the head coach of the U-11 Premier and the U-13 NPL teams.  He also works a variety of camps and skills clinics throughout New England.  Prior to his joining the Scorpions, Roberts served as the Training Director for the Commonwealth Football Club. 

No stranger to the Division III level, Roberts was a four-year member of the Bridgewater State University men’s soccer team.  A two-time captain for the Bears, Roberts was a member of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) for three years, and was also a peer mentor. 

He graduated from Bridgewater State in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice.  He currently works at Braintree High School, as a Special Ed. Paraeducator.
