2015-16 Did not appear in a contest as a junior ... Named to the New England Hockey Conference All-Academic Team. 

2014-15 Saw time in four games as a sophomore … Finished with two shots and 1 blocked shot … Made his season debut November 1 in the Beacons’ season-opening 15-3 win over UMass Dartmouth … Finished +1 and added a shot in a 5-4 overtime win over Saint Michael’s College on January 10.

2013-14 Appeared in two contest along the blue line as a freshman ... Finished with one goal, one shot and a +1 +/- rating ... Scored a goal in his collegiate debut and finished with a +1 +/- rating January 17 in a win over Saint Anselm.  

PERSONAL/HIGH SCHOOL Played for the Bridgewater Lumberjacks (Nova Scotia) of the Maritime Hockey League … Also played with the Summerside Western Capitals (Prince Edward Island) of the Canadian Junior Hockey League … Helped the Capitals to a number one ranking in all of Canada … Was a member of the Lumberjacks when they played in the World Junior A Challenge in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia against the Czech Republic U-20 team … Was named the NAPHL Top Prospect and All-Star (2010-11) … Voted Most Improved Player at the end of the Lumberjacks 2012-13 season … Attended Pingree School in South Hamilton, MA … Was a two-year varsity letter winner while at Pingreee … Son of Britt and Debra Zakas … Has one brother, Nicholas and one sister, Karissa … Currently majoring in Business.
