2015-16 Produced one of the most surprising seasons in UMass Boston history, as a key contributor on the third line and penalty kill … Earned a reputation as a big-game player, with four of his five goals coming against the Beacons’ top two conference rivals … Appeared in 30 contests … Named to the New England Hockey Conference All-Academic Team …  Produced new career-highs with five goals, six assists and 11 points … Totaled 42 shots and a + 13 +/- rating … Accrued just two penalty minutes … Provided an assist, his first collegiate point, on the Beacons’ first goal of the season and added a shot in the season-opener on October 30 … Scored his first collegiate goal December 4 in a 4-3 win over nationally-ranked Norwich University … Turned in the top statistical performance of his career December 11, with a goal, two assists and a +3 rating against Wentworth Institute … Recorded the game-winning goal January 16 over rival Babson College … Scored a highlight-reel goal in the NEHC Championship match March 5 in the Beacons’ 3-2 overtime win over Babson College.

2014-15 Earned his first collegiate appearance during his junior season … Appeared in one contest … Recorded one shot … Made his collegiate debut February 6 and recorded a shot in a 4-0 win over the University of Southern Maine.

2013-14 Did not appear in a game in his first season on the roster. 

PERSONAL/HIGH SCHOOL Played for the Trail Smoke Eaters of the British Columbia Hockey League … Graduated from St. Francis High School in Calgary, Alberta Canada in 2010 … Was a named to the Honor Roll three times in high school … Son of Jerry and Linda Demchuk … Has three brothers, Christopher, Matthew, and Daniel … Member of Alpha Lambda Delta which is a honor society for students who have maintained a 3.5 or higher grade point average and are in the top 20% of their class during their first year or term in higher education … Currently majoring in Finance.
