Sean Callahan is now in his third season with UMass Boston baseball.

After helping the Beacons to a Little East Conference Regular Season title in 2016, and a conference and NCAA Regional championship in 2017, Callahan will look to help the Beacons continue their recent success.

Callahan currently serves as the Director of Travel Teams and the head of baseball operations at Frozen Ropes Baseball and Softball Training Facility in Natick.  Amongst his many responsibilities is to work with over 5,000 clients as the head of player development.  He is also responsible for large scale event organization and planning, as well as the implementation of individual and team skills training. 

A four-year member of the Framingham State University team, Callahan was named a team captain in the 2011 season, and also served as assistant captain in 2010.  He was named an All-MASCAC selection in 201 and an Honorable Mention honoree in 2011.  His 2010 season, proved to be one for the record books, as he led the Rams to an impressive 24-win campaign, and would later be selected by the North Shore Navigators of the NECBL. 

Callahan graduated from Framingham State with his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in May of 2011.
