Garrett Callaghan

Garrett Callaghan enters his first year as a college baseball coach after a 6 year college career at both the Division III and Division I levels. His primary responsibility is to work with the hitters and outfielders.

Callaghan spent 5 years at Ithaca College, where he slashed a career .368. He has multiple appearances in the Ithaca record books, listed in the top 10 all time in doubles, home runs, slugging percentage and RBIs. In his final season in 2023, he finished the season batting .382 with 14 home runs and 66 RBIs, both good for second all time in program history for a single season. Following the completion of the season, he was named an ABCA 2nd Team All-American. He is also a 2 time ABCA All-Region selection and 3 time All-Conference selection.

Callaghan also spent summers in the NYCBL and Northwoods Summer Collegiate League.

Callaghan spent the 2022 season at Rutgers University in the Big Ten, where he hit .262 in 80 ABs for the number one offense in Division I (9.7 runs per game) and helped the Scarlet Knights reach the Big Ten Championship Game for the first time in program history.

Prior to moving to the Boston area, Callaghan spent time coaching for New Jersey based travel team Baseball U, and Zoned Sports Academy.
