2015 Enjoyed one of the best seasons for a Beacons’ relief pitcher in recent memory … Took over the closer role and appeared in a team-high 17 contests … Led the Beacons with his four saves and 1.12 earned run average … Finished tied for third in program history with his four saves in a single-season … Ended the year 3-0 in 24 innings of work … Struck out 15 batters, compared to seven walks … Allowed 29 hits, eight runs and three earned runs … Held opponents to a .290 batting average … Did not allow an earned run in 16 of his 17 appearances … Picked up his first save of the season March 18 by throwing 1.2 innings of one-hit ball in a 6-3 win over SUNY Paltz … Picked up the win over #3 SUNY Cortland by throwing a perfect top of the ninth … Threw a season-high 2.2 innings and allowed just one hit and one walk to earn the win in a 10-8 12-inning win over Keene State on April 18 … Picked up saves in back-to-back outings against MIT and Plymouth State (April 23, 25) … Threw 1.1 innings of scoreless relief to earn the win over regionally-ranked Endicott College … Finished off his career by allowing just one unearned run in 14 innings (11 outings).

2014 Had a strong junior season out of the bullpen for the Beacons … Earned four starts on the year, but was primarily a middle reliever … Made his debut with the Beacons on March 16 when he went five complete innings striking out four against the University of Wisconsin-Stout … Went a combined 43.1 innings and struck out 23 … Walked just 10 batters and finished the year with a 4.15 ERA and had one save … Recorded at-least one K in every game but four … Struck out three and did not surrender a walk, while only allowing one run on four hits in 3.2 on March 19 against Johns Hopkins University.

PERSONAL/HIGH SCHOOL Transferred to UMass Boston from Northern Essex Community College in Haverhill, MA … Led Northern Essex CC to a NJCAA Regional Championship and an appearance in the Junior College World Series … Graduated from Lowell High School in 2011 where he was a member of the baseball and track and field teams … Earned two varsity letters at Lowell High School … Son of Laurie and Steve Cummiskey … Has one brother, Jeffrey … Currently majoring in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology.
