Had eight doubles, one HR and 69 total bases on theseason ... Slugged .357 while sporting a .344 on-base percentage... Very disciplined at the plate, striking out only 12 times in221 plate appearances ... Registered three hit streaks of six gamesor more, including a season-long seven-game hit streak from April6-15 in which he hit a blistering .419 (13-31) ... Notched 20multi-hit games including a two-hit performance on May 29 vs.University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in the NCAA Division IIICollege Baseball World Series ... Had great success on the year vs.left-handed pitchers, collecting a torrid .447 (21-47) battingaverage ...
