2016 Named the Little East Conference Rookie of the Week on October 31 … Had a huge freshman campaign on the harbor campus … Appeared in all 34 matches and saw time in 123 sets … Registered 194 kills and 1.58 kills per set … Ended the season hitting .192 and combined for 41 assists and 193 digs (1.57 dps) … Also had nine solo blocks and 63 block assists for 72 total blocks (0.59 bps) … In her collegiate debut against UW-Platteville she registered five kills and had three digs in the 3-0 victory on September 2 … Recorded her first career double-digit kill performance as she threw down 15 kills to go along with eight digs and four block assists in the 3-2 win over Stevenson University … Recorded her first 10 dig performance on September 14 in the 3-0 win over Brandeis University … Had her best overall match when she recorded 14 digs, nine kills, six block assists and one solo block in the October 22 win over Amherst College.

PERSONAL/HIGH SCHOOL Graduated from Loyola Academy in Wilmette, IL in 2016 … Was a two-sport athlete in high school (volleyball, track & field) … Was named Team MVP and an IHSA All-Conference honoree … Named the 2014 AVCA Phenom … Selected as the Chicago Tribune Athlete of the Month and the USA High Performance AZ camp … Recorded the most aces and highest hitting percentage on her high school team as a senior … Led her high school to a 2015 and 2014 section and super sectional championships … Also helped her team to a regional championship in 2014 … Was a member of her high school’s National Honors Society, French National Honors Society, and First Honors … Played her club volleyball with the Northwestern Wildcat Juniors Club … Daughter of Connie and Louis Fyda … Has one sister, Kasey and one brother, Jack … Currently majoring in Environmental Science.
