2016 Put together a career-best season as a junior … Saw time in a career-high 21 games … Posted a career-best four assists and six total points … Totaled 12 shots and five shots on goal … Recorded an assist in the Beacons’ season-opening 2-0 win over Roger Williams … Chipped in with an assist in the Beacons’ Little East Conference opening 5-0 win over Plymouth State University … Tacked on an assist against conference foe Southern Maine on October 1 … Scored a goal in the Little East Conference Semifinals against Eastern Connecticut State University … Successfully took and scored his penalty kick in the NCAA Tournament Secodn Round against Haverford College ... Appeared in all five of the Beacons’ playoff contests.   

2015 Stepped onto the pitch in 18 of the 21 games played during the Beacons championship season … Was one of the most consistent players off the bench for UMass and earned a spot in the starting line-up seven times … Tallied a combined three assists during the Beacons run to the NCAA Tournament for the second straight year … Earned his first assist of the year in the Beacons 3-1 win at Thomas College on September 5 … Notched an assist on September 26 in the 9-0 conference win over Southern Maine … Recorded his final assist of the year in the October 10 match against Eastern Connecticut State University.

2014 Saw time in 11 matches for the Beacons … Netted his only goal of the season in the 4-0 victory of St. Joseph’s College on October 7 … Combined for five shots on goal and took four corner kicks, including two in the 7-0 rout over UMass Dartmouth on September 27 … Made his debut with the Beacons on August 31 in the 4-3 win over Thomas College (Maine) on the final day of the Roger Williams University Tournament.

PERSONAL/HIGH SCHOOL Graduated from the Charter School of Wilmington in Wilmington, DE in 2014 … Was named a Captain and was selected as an All-Region player … Earned four varsity letters with the soccer program … Member of four Blue Hen Conference Championship teams … Son of Sam and Jua Smick … Currently majoring in Business Management.
