Boston, MA (Feb. 20, 2025) --- The UMass Boston men's ice hockey team hosts the Huskies of Southern Maine for two games this weekend. Heading into the last weekend of regular season action, the Beacons currently sit in 9th place in the standings with 21 points, one point behind Elmira for the 8th seed.

The last time these two teams met was in 2024 when the Beacons won by a score of 4-1. In that game, four different Beacons tickled the twine enroute to the win with Jacob Kaminski securing the game winning goal.

Michael Krupinski has been named as a semifinalist for the 24th annual Joe Concannon Award presented to the best American-born player at the D-II/III level in New England. This season Krupinski has 3 goals, 10 assists, and 26 blocked shots (3rd on the team).

Other Games to Watch
The Soaring Eagles of Elmira College will host Vermont State University Castleton for their final two regular season games of the season. Castleton currently sits in 9th with 11 points and will look to play spoilers to Elmira who currently claim the final playoff spot with 22 points. In 7th is Albertus Magnus with 24 points. They will be playing 6th place New England College (26 points) in what will be two exciting games as well.
