Plymouth, N.H. (Oct. 25, 2025) — The UMass Boston men's soccer team earned an impressive 3–0 road victory over Plymouth State on Saturday afternoon.
The Beacons struck early, as Ryan Doherty found the back of the net for his third goal of the season off a setup from Amir Lahkiky, who notched his third assist of the year. UMass Boston carried a 1–0 lead into halftime.
Just five minutes into the second half, Jair Whyte doubled the advantage with the first goal of his collegiate career. Rafael Gross sealed the win in the 84th minute, recording his sixth goal of the season to make it 3–0.
Goalkeeper Nolan McKenna turned aside six shots in 87 minutes of play to earn the win and the clean sheet.
