Salem, MA --- UMass volleyball improves to 3-1 following their 3-set win over the Vikings Wednesday night. Â
The Beacons were efficient, limiting the Vikings to 12 points in the first and third sets. During the second set, the Vikings were capped at 14 points.Â

Kelsey Cruz and Audrey Cofield both saw success at the endline. Cruz tallied 4 aces while Cofield was close behind with 3 service aces.Â
Cofield also led all players with 9 assists.Â
On the defensive end, Mary Matthews registered 11 digs and the Beacs didn't allow a single service ace to the Vikings.Â
