The third inning would pass for both teams unscathed, as no runs were recorded in the third inning. In the fourth however, the Wolves were able to cut one back against the Beacons following an RBI single.

In the fourth inning, Farnacci would triple to the hole in right field to score Meagher. Farnacci came around to score following Parker's single to right field for the final run scored of the fourth inning.
In the fifth inning, First-year shortstop
Elliot Miles would sacrifice fly-out to left field allowing Blake to tag up and score, increasing their cushion to 4-1. The final run of the fifth inning came from a solo-blast from Meagher, his third home run of the season, as UMass Boston headed into the sixth with a commanding 5-1 lead.
The final two UMass Boston runs would come at the next turn of the inning, with Parker sac-flying out to right field to score Farnacci for the Beacs' sixth run of the game.
