Boston, MA (Dec. 5, 2024) --- The UMass Boston Beacons host the Camels of Connecticut College in non-conference action Saturday at 1pm.

Beacons 

• The Beacons saw their 7-game winning streak snapped by #4 Amherst College in the Championship game of the 17th Annual Codfish Bowl. 

• Lily Hayes was named NEHC Women's Hockey Player of the Week after scoring two goals on 3 shots in the Beacons win over Manhattanville 

• Avery Brooks picked up NEHC Rookie of the Week honors after assisting on two goals and scoring one to help propel the Beacons to the Championship game of the Codfish Bowl. 

• Adriana Crepaldi leads the team in points with 6 (3 Goals, 3 Assists). 

• Four different Beacons have scored 3 goals this season and 13 Beacons have scored at least once. 

• Leah Bosch and Veronika Hadamovsky have been splitting time in net. Hadamovsky holds a .935 save percentage and 1.76 GAA and Bosch holds a .938 save percentage and 2.00 GAA. 

Camels 

• The Camels have picked up their first win of the season after starting 0-4. The win came against Salve Regina on December 3rd by a score of 3-0.  

• Caitlin Pierce leads the team in goals and points with 3. 

• Devon Galizio has seen most of the action in net making 3 starts, holding a .894 save percentage and 2.98 GAA. 

History 

• The last time these teams met, the Camels came away with a 1-0 win. The Beacons last win came in the 2018-19 season with a score of 3-0.
