Boston, MA (Nov. 8, 2024) --- The UMass Boston Beacons finish regular season action Saturday, November 9th at 12pm vs Eastern Connecticut State at the Clark Athletics Center Gymnasium in Boston, Massachusetts. Before the match, the Beacons will be celebrating their seniors with a senior day presentation. 

The Basics 

Beacons: 17-8 (Overall), 5-2 (LEC), 3rd in LEC Standings 

Warriors: 13-10 (Overall), 4-3 (LEC), 4th in LEC Standings 

Beacons 

• The Beacons are currently on a 7-game winning streak with their last loss coming from non-conference opponent, Brandeis on October 16th.  

• Mary Matthews received her second Defensive Player of the Week honor while Audrey Cofield received her first Rookie of the Week honor from the conference. 

• Mya Perron leads the team in points (210.5) and kills (200). 

• Toni Guerra leads the team in service aces with 36 on the season, 13 of which have come during conference play. 

• Mikayla Cleary leads the team in blocks with 43 on the season, followed closely by Addie Blomgren who has 40. 

Warriors 

• The Warriors are on a 2-game winning streak. 

• Emma Robinson leads the Warriors in points by a large margin with 311 on the season and 251 kills. Robinson also leads the team in service aces with 52. 

• Maggie Bar leads the team in blocks with 33. 

History 

• The Beacons took the win in their last meeting in 2023, 3 sets to 0, but the recent history has been close between these two teams, splitting evenly 5-5 in their last 10 meetings.
