Boston, MA (Nov. 8, 2024) --- The UMass Boston Beacons begin their New England Hockey Conference slate when they travel to Henniker, New Hampshire to take on New England College for two games. The first game will be Friday, November 8th at 6pm and the second game will be played Saturday, November 9th with a 3pm scheduled puck drop. 

The Basics

Pilgrims: 0-3-0 (Overall), 0-0-0 (Conference) 

Beacons 

• The Beacons began their season on the road vs Curry College, dropping that contest 3-1 before hosting Western New England University and falling 1-0. 

• Kristen Briggs was the first to light the lamp for the Beacons this season. Margeaux Butters and Lily Hayes both registered assists. 

• In net, Leah Bosch and Veronika Hadamovsky have both seen action and have save percentages over 90%. 

Pilgrims 

• The Pilgrims dropped games to Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (4-1 and 3-2), and Plymouth State University (3-2). 

• Meadow Gilchrist leads the team in goals early in the season with 2 while Olivia Lindberg holds the team lead in points with 4 thanks to a goal and 3 assists. 

• In net, Lucy Armour, Kayden Lallier Whissell, and Amy Donnelly have all collected starts with Armour holding the best save percentage at .903% followed by Lallier Whissell at .850% and Donnelly at .826%. 

History 

• The Beacons hold the historical advantage over the Pilgrims, winning their last meeting 3-0 and are on a 20-game winning streak. The Pilgrims last win came in 2012.
