Boston, MA (Nov. 29, 2024) --- After getting their first two wins of the season over New England College last weekend, the Beacons men's ice hockey team will look to keep the momentum going when they travel to Colby College Saturday and Bowdoin College Sunday. 

The Basics 

Beacons: 2-5-0 (Overall), 2-4-0 (Conference) 

Mules: 2-1-1 (Overall), 2-1-0 (Conference) 

Polar Bears: 2-2-0 (Overall), 1-2-0 (Conference) 

Beacons 

• Defeated Pilgrims of New England College by the score of 4-2 and 3-0 to get the weekend sweep. 

• Tyler Bost was named NEHC Goalie of the Week after making 62 saves through two games and the shutout on day two of the weekend. 

• Jazz Krivtsov leads the team in goals with 4 and points with 8 

• Jude Kurtas leads in assists with 5 on the season 

Mules 

• Colby College is coming off a 2-2 tie (2-1 OT loss) to Suffolk University Tuesday, November 26th 

• Reese Farrell leads the team in goals with 3 and points with 4. 

• Ryan Moore has 3 assists on the season 

• Cooper Rautenstrauch, Edward Baliotti, and Adam Costly have all gotten starts in net with Rautenstrauch leading in all categories - .964 SV%, 1.00 GAA, 2 Wins. 

Polar Bears 

• The Polar Bears lone two wins have come during overtime, first 2-1 OT win over NESCAC opponent Williams in their second game of the season, and most recently 3-2 OT win over Endicott Tuesday night. 

• Luke Wheeler leads the team with 2 goals. 

• 5 different players have registered a goal this season, 10 players have registered at least a point. 

History 

• Colby defeated UMass Boston in their last meeting 3-0, but the Beacons have had recent success against the Mules going 4-1-1 in their last 6 meetings. 

• The Polar Bears bested the Beacons last time out 6-0. The Beacons last win over the Polar Bears was in 2017 when they won 4-0.
