Middletown, RI (Nov. 9, 2024) --- The Beacons ran out of time to complete the comeback in their NEHC opening game vs the Seahawks of Salve Regina 5-4 Saturday night. 

How it Happened 

• The Seahawks scored the first two goals of the game in quick succession before Jazz Krivtsov scored his first goal of the season on the power play. 

• The second period was similar to the first, with the Seahawks scoring twice before Krivtsov scored his second power-play goal of the game. 

• The third period went the Beacons' way with Jakob Teply scoring first and Kevin Sadovski getting the last of the game. 

Inside the Box Score 

• The Beacons went 2-4 on the power play 

• Tyler Bost made 24 saves in the loss, 11 of which came in the first. 

• Jude Kurtas made 2 blocks for the Beacons in addition to his 2 assists. 

• Jack Mortson led the team in assists with 3.
