Beacons 

• The Beacons are riding a 4-game winning streak heading into Saturday's contest. 

• After dropping the first 2 conference games of the season, UMass Boston has won the subsequent 4 bringing their LEC conference record to 4-2. 

• Mya Perron leads the team in kills with 187 and points with 196.5. In the last four games Perron has registered 57 kills (58 points). 

• Two Beacons have over 30 service aces on the season, Toni Guerra continues to take the top spot with 36 on the season followed by Mary Matthews who has 31. Matthews has registered 5 service aces in her last two games. 

• Addie Blomgren holds the team lead in blocks on the season with 39 followed by Mikayla Cleary who has 36. Blomgren is averaging .83 Blocks a set. 

Spartans 

• The Spartans are on a 5-game losing streak and are still searching for their first win in conference play. 

• Hailey Martinovich leads the Spartan offense with 208 kills on the year, averaging 2.74 a set – over 1.00 more than the next highest scorer on the team. 

• Alondra Rojas has been lights out on the service line collecting 75 service aces this season, averaging .97 SA/S. 

• Madison Sheehan is the team leader in blocks with 23, while on the defensive end Victoria Garcia leads the team in digs with 267 (3.81 Dig/S). 

History 

• The Beacons last met the Spartans last season where they came away with the 3 set to 1 victory. In their 5 meetings in program history, the Beacons have won them all, allowing the Spartans to win just 1 set in their history.
