Boston, MA (Oct. 26, 2024) --- The UMass Boston Beacons defeated the Wolves of Western Connecticut 3 sets to 1 to improve to 4-2 in conference play, bumping them up to third in the LEC standings.
How it Happened
The Beacons played inspired, finishing their attacks efficiently and effectively throughout the day. The first set was won by the Beacons by a score of 25-11. After the Wolves scored their 7th point of the set, the Beacons dominated going on two extended runs before securing the first set in a dominating fashion. The Wolves bounced back in the second set, taking it 25-21. The third set was like the first with the Beacons keeping the Wolves to just 12 points. The fourth set would be the final one for UMass Boston after they took the win by 10 with a score of 25-15.
