With just under 10 minutes to play in the first half, Union's Declan Crowley evened the score with his first goal of the season.

Ryan Lima, once again racing Meireles to the top of the team leaderboard, took an assist from
John Arruda to the net, recording his fourth goal of the season and giving his team a 2-1 lead.
The Beacons' lead was once again short-lived, however, as Union's Luca Richo notched his first goal of the season with under 18 minutes to play.Â
With Union controlling the ball on offense for the majority of the final 15 minutes, UMass Boston goalie
JJ Devine stepped up, recording five of his seven saves in the closing minutes of the half to keep the score tied at two.
