FRAMINGHAM, Mass. - A low-scoring affair in Framingham went the way of the hosts as UMass Boston Men's Soccer fell to the Rams by a final score of 1-0 on Tuesday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Both teams struggled to put the ball in the net early with over 30 minutes of scoreless play ticking off the clock in the first half. The drought was broken by Framingham State's Kauan Gomes who put the Rams ahead 1-0 in the 31st minute.Â

Qasim El-Ashkar locked in after the halftime break, saving two early shots to keep Framingham at bay. The strong second half effort was not enough, however, as the Beacons failed to put a ball in the net on 10 shots on goal.Â
