Box Score GENEVA, N.Y. – Taking on Hobart College, ranked second in the USCHO Division III Poll, UMass Boston Men's Ice Hockey fell 6-1 to the Statesmen Friday night on the road.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The two sides would exchange a goal each as freshman forward Tanne Daniels netted a goal less than five minutes into the contest. Freshman forward
Jazz Krivtsov would respond for UMass Boston with his fifth goal of the season to tie the game back up at one heading into the second period.
The rest of the game would be controlled by Hobart who scored four times in the second frame with goals coming from junior forwards Christian Duvall, Artem Buzoverya, and Jonah Alexander while sophomore forward Luke Aquaro tacked on a goal as well to expand the Statesmen lead to four goals, 5-1.
Hobart College would add a sixth goal in the third period from Buzoverya, his second of the game, as UMass Boston was downed 6-1 on the road.
BY THE NUMBERS
- Senior goalie Sam Best stopped 16 of 20 shots he faced while sophomore goalie Darius Bell made 14 saves on 16 attempts
- Freshman goalie Damon Beaver made 20 saves in net on 21 attempts for Hobart College
