Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 SELINSGROVE, Pa. – On the final day of the 17^th Annual Susquehanna University River Hawk Classic, volleyball was handed a pair of losses, first falling to the 22^nd ranked River Hawks, before falling in their final match to Chatham University Saturday afternoon at O.W. Houts Gymnasium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Looking to pull-off the upset against the ranked River Hawks, the Beacons played two close sets before falling 25-22, 25-21, and 25-12. In the second match, Chatham cruised in the first set taking a 25-8 decision. They then slipped past UMB in the second with a 25-23 decision. In the final frame, the two teams battled back-and-forth with Chatham taking a 25-23 victory.

Against Susquehanna, Livia Trindade led the Beacons with a season-high eight kills. Melina Sullivan put-up six assists, while Ally Dean continued her strong play in the back row with nine digs.

As a team, the River Hawks hit .302, finishing in double figures in kills in all three sets.

Against Chatham, Taryn Broughal put down six kills and had a season-high .500 hitting percentage. Trindade put-up four kills to close out her weekend. Amelia Devlin registered 12 assists and had a pair of aces. Dean carried the Beacons defensive effort with 14 digs, while Colbie Atlas finished with four block assists.
