BEVERLY, Mass. – The Beacons dropped their fourth-straight contest as they were handed an 18-3 non-conference loss by the 25
th ranked Gulls of Endicott College on Wednesday at North Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Gulls 18 runs came on just nine hits, as they scored in bunches in the second, sixth, and seventh innings. They would do a majority of their work in the later innings as they combined for 10 runs to blow the game wide open.
UMass Boston was held to just one run, thanks to a
Drew Metzdorf solo home run, through eight innings. They tacked on two runs in the final inning with
Jason Sullivan driving in a pair of runs on a double.
Beacons were held to just four hits in the contest. Tim Kierce was handed the loss after allowing six runs on two hits in two innings of work.
