BOSTON, Mass. – A pair of goals from Clark Kerner lifted the 13
th ranked Norwich University Cadets to a 2-1 come-from-behind win over men's hockey Saturday afternoon at the Edward T. Barry Ice Rink in a New England Hockey Conference matchup.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Kerner's late game heroics started at the 10:50 mark of the third period when he tied the game at 1-1 on a power-play goal. He then gave the Cadets their third-straight victory with less than three minutes left in regulation, when he redirected a shot over the shoulder of Beacons netminder
Sam Best.
Grady Friedman broke the scoreless draw midway through the second period giving the Beacons the early advantage.
The Beacons had the advantage offensively in the final two periods but were held to just the lone goal.
On the night the Beacons outshot the Cadets 34-22, with Best registering 20 saves. Drennen Atherton posted 33 saves as he collected the win.
BY THE NUMBERS
